This session will include a delegation from Germany and key stakeholders from nursing institutions across Kerala to explore the possibilities of implementing this transformative partnership in our state.
The Global Skills Partnership (GSP) in Nursing aims to foster strong collaboration between healthcare organizations in Germany and nursing colleges in Kerala. The primary goal is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, skills, and best practices between the two countries' institutions. This partnership will play a significant role in enhancing the skills of nursing students in Kerala, preparing them for careers in both the German and Indian labor markets. Furthermore, it seeks to establish nursing qualifications that meet German standards, including the requisite language proficiency, and streamline the usual process of staff nurse recruitment to reduce the time between recruitment and the recognition of qualifications for nurses.
